Which permits can you monitor?

Permits available by exact number in the City of Tampa's public Accela Building portal, including older permits. We check coverage during manual review. This does not cover all of Hillsborough County or other municipalities.

How quickly will I get an update?

We check every 15 minutes and text you when we detect a status change. The city's publication timing, portal outages, and carrier delivery can add delay. We do not promise instant updates, and a status that changes and changes back between checks may be missed.

What counts as a change?

A change to the permit's overall status, such as Applied to Issued. This version does not monitor individual inspection appointments, reviewer comments, fees, or document uploads.

How do I stop texts or cancel?

Reply STOP to stop texts. To cancel your subscription, email hello@permitwatchhq.com before your next renewal. Stopping texts does not automatically cancel billing. Cancellation stops future renewals; your current paid period remains available.

What happens after checkout?

You'll give us your permit numbers and mobile number on a short form. SMS consent is separate and optional. We review the request before monitoring starts. If you do not opt in, we will contact you by email about next steps rather than text you.
